How to find contacts for specific clients (clothing brands)
Hello everyone.
I am an illustrator and I would like to be hired by clothing brands, and stores more often.
I had a gig with a physical store ( live drawing) and I loved it, but they have reached out to me.
1st question - for whose email I should be looking to get in contact with people who might hire me at stores to do window painting, live drawing & murals?
2nd- what about online stores that hire a lot of artists/do collaborations with them (for example Outsiders Division), would the message reach the right people?
Maybe some of the illustrators had positive experiences and wouldn't mind sharing your tricks with me?
Hope my question is clear and thanks for your input,
Ieva

- Hi Ieva, I know of film content makers who ahve approached brands directly on Insta and had success, the key is to show that you've done your research, know the brand and have ideas that you want to share with them . . .
- I concur about LinkedIn. It's a great way to find out who's who at different organisations. Also, there is no harm in picking up the telephone and asking who looks after marketing or creative direction within a business.
- Hello Leva,Your best shoot is if you figure out who is the creative director and message them directly. you can try to search for them on Linkedin.
