How to Promote Website?
I'm trying to grow an audience for my content, but don't know the best place/way to promote my work. Does anyone have any tips for increasing the visibility of a website, and retaining any new visitors? Thanks!

- Put some time into researching SEO - it takes time but is definitely worth the effort. It's also fairly straightforward once you get the hang of it!As someone mentioned blogs are great for SEO, so keeping up a regular blog, even if it's just once a month, will help you gain followers/views.Check out www.studiocotton.com. Their blog is packed with knowledge. They used to offer consultations but I think they're on hold for now.Good luck to you!

- @Alexander Adams just the content (the AI that decides ranking don't give a damn about design 😂), even just moving around words can make a difference in ranking.

- HI Alexander,One main thing Google use for ranking is how up to date to the site so doing a little move around at least weekly helps.

- Some really good recommendations from @Alexandra (Lex) Hearth. You can also try professional networking, listing yourself on directories and cross-promoting it on other sites, podcasts etc. It's a cumulative effect really, once you pick up some momentum is starts to snowball.
- Hey Alexander, having blog style articles on the website is a great way to increase the Google ranking of your site and attract new visitors. That's why so many sites have listicles > because search engines can read them easily so they draw traffic. Other than that it's good old fashioned email lists, and social media. It's not a quick process but it does work over time. Lots of new businesses gravitating to TikTok for this nowadays. Hope that helps a bit! Lex
