I am currently redoing my PDF portfolio and was wondering where I can get inspiration?

I find this process to be extremely difficult, especially trying to convey my processes and what led me to do what I did. Any visual tips would be appreciated.

  • We must always be seeking for new information. However, learning frequently gets challenging. My time has been saved by discovering https://pdfguru.com/png-to-pdf which is a good thing. I'm not forced to spend time image converter.
  • I tend to get my inspiration from Behance, but also I tend to look at how artists organise their websites, as it can be a good way of getting inspiration while maintaining your own interpretations and ideas!
  • Yes, I would also suggest to switch to any portfolio site. There are so many options nowdays, both free and paid. Behance, Dribbble being the most popular, but then you have also Contra, Underpinned etc. If you feel super adventurous 😁 - wordpress, wix or squarespace.

And - instead of .pdf portfolio, I have simply added an extra page to my CV: 9 -12 shots from the most relevant projects to job offer Im applying to. Visually it looks like Pinterest feed 😁 But I can tailor this page specifically for the job offer and it's fast to do so. Have been working out pretty well for me.
  • @Gary Wai-man Kwok Thank you for the reply and I may switch to a website to just make things easier on myself.
  • I myself have been back and forth on whether to bother making a PDF portfolio again - with images, etc, they're often too big to be attached to job applications/emails etc and I have a portfolio site that I refer people to anyways.

But if you're still intent on maintaining one, then I would say to present each project like a simple case study - client, problem and solution.
