Hello! I’m Kathryn; I’m an Assistant Language Teacher for the Hokkaido Board of Education in Obihiro, Japan, working under the UK JET (Japan Exchange Teaching) Programme. I assist in the English classes at multiple Senior High Schools, as well as help out at local events, and assist in cultural exchange on a local level.
I was previously a Freelance Illustrator, working with clients such as UAL, Shelter, We Are Print Social, and Ashtead Cocktail Drop. I was also recently published in 'Softcore' by Rebecca Orr.
While I am not currently offering commercial Illustrative work, I am very much still developing my practice alongside my work in Japan 🇯🇵

- The Death of Stalin⭑ "Trust no-one" ⭑ I recently had the joy of rewatching The Death of Stalin, and I quickly came to realise it has become one of my all time favourite films. The expert levels of satire make for a hugely humorous viewing, as well as the brevity to accurately depict the vast misery and paranoia experienced by many in the Soviet Union.
