I haven't worked in London since the mid-Eighties. I've been in New York since then. What's the environment like, living and work-wise?

  • Close to half a million people have left NYC since mid-March, may never return. Obviously, the density of the city had a lot to do with the explosion of the virus but there were a lot of underlying problems, lack of healthcare, massive wealth gap, poor infrastructure.
I loved London when I lived there and often regretted the move but I realize things have changed alot in thirty years. I was wondering if the pandemic might present some opportunities in some crazy way.
  • London can be very expensive if you let it. Can’t compare with NYC as never been. Huge amount of competition in creative world, expect similar in NY, but also plenty opportunities.
  • Living: hella expensive
Work-wise: I'm sure Covid has affected people as much as it has in NY??
