  • @Andjela Jovanovic thank you so much!! i was thinking of making one on canva as i use it a bit already. because this is a module i wanted to be creative and target my portfolio to a business i would like to work with once i graduate ☺️
  • Hi Rose,

I used Canva, the free version, for creating my portfolio. It can be very suitable for quickly sharing work with potential clients because you can share it with a link, like a website. http://bit.ly/3alBMc1

I have five years of experience in social media marketing without a website, but that didn't stop me on my journey, so no pressure.

Build a portfolio, start exploring and connecting, and everything will sort out when it is time. :)

Feel free to ask me anything if you need help.
  • I wouldn't say you necessarily need a site like squarespace. A lot of recruitment in digital (that I've seen) still functions off the basis of sending CV and portfolio PDFs around. Making a site can be a bit more intensive in terms of effort and time investment, so if you have the means to make a nice portfolio just as a PDF even that would suffice. I think the content of what you're showing is more important than the medium itself.

(Of course if you have the time, money and patience to build a site it definitely doesn't hurt and can look amazing.)

One application I received that stood out actually made herself a slide deck/PowerPoint portfolio that not only introduced herself but then went into case studies too, it was a pretty great way for us to get a full picture of her even before meeting her, so you could try less conventional methods like that too!
