I'm looking for advice as to what photo agents/creative agencies that rep photographers are looking for in a photographer's portfolio? TIA!

Hi all,

I'm currently considering representation for my photography work but am really interested in knowing what photography agents/agencies are looking for when it comes to a photographer's portfolio or application.

Further, as a photographer, is there specific things that I should be looking for/or even wary of when looking at prospective agents?

Thanks in advance!

  • They prefer a roster of established clients, a unique visual style, and authenticity. Sometimes your work might land because it fills a space in their stableor be on trend. Research carefully who you approach make sure you work matches their production values and their cultural values. its not easy but fun to try.
