I’m planning to start my own business. I love my idea but the work to get started is daunting! What are some resources to help me start?

  • Super exciting Rebecca - now is such a time for opportunity & personal development so you're off to a good start! I'd be happy to have a conversation with you around what steps to take first, good places to start & things to be aware of when setting up your own business :) Just get in touch! Nicola
  • So am I! The idea has been daunting but the launch of my business is only a few days away! Go with your gut feeling. Would be happy to cross share ideas and my own recent experiences.
  • I found that the Huckletree Renegade Academy was the absolute best way to start working out my business plan and get started. They are offering 20% off atm https://www.huckletree.com/renegade-academy with the code RAEARLYBIRD20
  • @Stefan Jakubowski wow thanks a lot! I’ll check it out, I’ve been trying to absorb as much information as possible.

I know some people who haven’t started businesses but they have been more services rather than physical product so I’m not sure how much similarity there would be.
  • Definitely speak to as many business founders and freelancers as you can and use their experiences to help you get started (happy to share my own experiences if you want to chat!)

Tim Ferris who wrote the 4 hour workweek has loads of amazing free resources on his website and his podcast is great too - he interviews successful people from all fields, from startup founders to actors and sportspeople.
