I'm trying to design an interactive + responsive email signature. What software should I use?
I have the design as an Illustrator file but I can't find any consistent information on how to make it so that it's responsive and accepts social media links.
Everything seems to point to signature generator templates but I was wondering if there's any other way to go about it.
Thank you for the advice!

- @Younes Annaki Oh that's actually really cool! Didn't know that was a thing. Even if I don't use it for this project, I'm definitely keeping this little nugget for future reference. Thanks!
- @Thea (Lucia) Moreno Lottie is practically "magic", it is a technology that offers you the ability to have interactive animations in your page as code, it is not a gif nor a video but an animated vector which makes its magic. Not trying to cofuse you here, note that this is not a necessity just a thing I have thought about that can make your signature fancier like handwritting effect for example.https://airbnb.design/lottie/https://lottiefiles.com/
- @Merrie Haig thank you! This looks great and pretty straight forward. I'm not usign Gmail but I'll give it a try anyway see if it also works for other email services.
- @Younes Annaki Hi Younes, thank you for your reply. I will try the "mini-HTML" file. Hopefullly it shouldn't be too complex. Not quite sure of what youmean with "lottie" though. Is it a software?
- If you are using gmail, I’ve used this techniquehttps://pin.it/5Ni8zoy
- Signature generator aren't that great they just slide a picture into parts and combine it again. Try and create your own "mini HTML" document for that matter. It is like a custom newsletter but just the bottom part of it. If you want to animate the signature consider some "lottie" too. Hope it helps!
