I need some advice from people who offer consulting to agencies. I want to do that, but I don't know where to start.

I'm a brand designer, that loves branding, and I work alone. I have my own agency (just me) and I work with clients. But one thing that I would love to start doing in a near future is to offer consulting to agencies who wants to oursource brand workshops, brand strategy and brand identities.

Any of you guys do that? If yes, how did you start? Do you have any advice?

I would really appreciate :)

  • @Soraia Soares My existing clients send me their clients or friends in "urge". It works pretty discreet, and all of them are satisfied. I have them all. Everyone is important, and a diamond to me. Therefore, I try to expand my network in all directions.
  • @Angela Ilic Thank you so much for your reply! Do you offer to your network or your network send consulting clients to you? :) And what kind of network do you have, fellow marketeers, agencies, or clients?
  • I personally use my network. However, my consulting is very inclusive, and rather applicable to a niche market.
  • @Anna Negrini Thank you so much for your advice Anna! I really appreciate it :) I will start researching agencies, it's a good start!
  • I've selected a bunch of companies that I thought would appreciate my portfolio and just emailed them :). Keep in mind that often you're required to work under a white label (you can't put your name on the project/show it in your portfolio)
  • Hi Soraia!
I've been through this transition, and I am happy to have a conversation about it and share what I know :)
