I recently began experimenting with 3D modeling and rendering. Can anyone recommend any good career-orientated courses/tutorials?

Most of the work I'm doing at the moment is personal project based using a mix of Blender, Adobe Dimension and the Substance Suite, plus I'm looking to use the Unreal Engine. My current goal is to move towards enviornment art based projects and achviz.

  • @George Williams Glad I could help! Yeah substance tutorial wise I’ve only watched tutorials from them and a few others on YouTube.

I did see learnsquared have substance courses also so maybe it’s worth trying them out as well?

If you do let me know what you thought.
  • @Mathew Spendlove Thanks Matthew! Appreciate the swift reply. Just checked out learnsquared - the courses look great! Pretty much perfectly tailored to what I'm currently learning.

Substance workflow is of definite interest as I've been playing about with Painter, Designer and Alchemist a lot this past week. I've spent a bit of time using a few youtube clips, just seeing if I can dig out any gems. Let me know if you may know of any.
  • Hi George,

Maybe look at learnsquared for online classes. I’ve done a few in the past and found them to be great. I just checked and they do a few on 3d workflow on world building and concept art. Hope that helps!
