I recently created a WordPress website and wanted some feedback on how to improve its design. The website URL is: http://brightdayz.xyz/
This is the first website I have created so any constructive feedback is welcome. Particularly about the design or even ways to further develop the site and reduce my bounce rate.

- Hey!I would remove the underline of the red titles.I would add a favicon (https://favicon.io/)I would maintain the same font (or max 2 fonts) thorough the whole website :)
- @Paul Woodthorpe Thank you for your helpful feedback. I agree. There’s definitely a lot more I can do content wise. And I will take your comments into account when I next edit my website.
- I like it, it was clear it was about well being but wasn't unclear it was targetted towards people with anxiety until you read you About page.I personally think as a suffer, you are in a unique position to teach and help people about it so I think you should make it just a little more personal to you by highlighting who you are and your journey with anxiety up front rather than hidden on an About page. And maybe a photo of yourself to put a warm face to the person writing.A lot of people like the idea that someone knows what they are going through and will warm to the blogs more if you have that personal contact with it.I think you also need to consider setting a posting schedule of at least two posts/week. It doesn't just have to be about ways to cope, but maybe you could try other things such as exercise types, apps, techniques, interviews with other anxiety sufferers, etc to fill up the content.Personal blogs like yours are very slow to take off but if you dedicate your time to posting regular content, giving lots of great advice, reviews and tips on anxiety and wellness, and engage with any and all people that comment or contact you, it will soon grow into a strong and well read blog.

- I really like it, is simple but it works! You could add a nice footer with more informations. Or maybe check if u can have a SSL certificate, so Google will be happy to put you in a higher position. I like the blog posts as they provide practical solutions to everyday life. Design wise is not too bad! well done!

- Hi Ella, and well done — I like the use of white space throughout the website, as it links to calmness and breathing. I guess the homepage is where I'd refine the layout a bit more. For example, you could align the posts and their titles differently (try centering them and see if it improves the look )and maybe remove the underlining . Another aspect is the buttons: if i like the warm vibe of the main menu, the other buttons on the homepage feel a bit cold in comparison.Hope this can help you with your next steps!
