Is anyone actively avoiding Inktober this year due to all the controversy floating around the net?

- I never followed the 'official' inktober and only have more reason not to now. I took part in 'goretober' horror prompts in 2017 and made up my own prompts in 2018 but the burnout from daily prompts was too much to deal with. I think the 'blank-tober' format has kind of taken on a life of its own and is far divorced from the 'creator'. I've seen plenty of people make their own versions with one prompt every three days which seems a lot better!
- @Nadia Fontana I tried it once before and about a week in started comparing my work to others and gave up. This year though, I was thinking of setting myself my own challenge to draw a bunch of endangered species, that way it's more for myself than a popular hastag.
