About me
Hi I’m Nadia. I am a multi-disciplinary artist who specialises in illustration. Among other things, I enjoy animation, graphic design and writing. My work is very adaptable but with a consistent visual identity that I would say is inspired by an amalgamation of things from my life. I am inspired by both the bold and brash cartoons of the 00s that raised me, combined with the eccentricity of anime and manga. As an Asian girl who grew up in the UK, I draw inspiration from Asian fashion and culture to express my identity in my art. I love fashion and music which are things I try to stay close to in my work, working with musicians and bands for album artwork and videos, and also incorporating fashion into my illustrations. I am fascinated by the movement of trends and analysing the cycles, I believe that nostalgia and romanticism of the past plays a paramount role in this. I like to have a sense of humour with my work, embracing the camp in life while still imbuing work with meaningful emotion.

I created three main versions in different dimensions for a Instagram story, Instagram portrait post, and Instagram landscape post (this illustration was posted first as a teaser before the tour dates were confirmed, featuring only the band and supporting artist Pink Eye Club as comic book characters). The poster was Planet of the Apes themed as their tour was entitled "Plane
