Laptop/ camera insurance
Hi,
Anyone can recommend place to insure camera and laptop?
I’m looking to cover it while I’m on set :)

- I have used Glover and Howe for years. You can get cover for your kit and public liabilty in one policy.
- I use www.williamsoncarson.co.uk for my equipment. They should be pretty helpful if you tell them what you need.
- Hi Ania,I use Infocus, in my experience you need to look at what risks are covered in some detail.Last time I really got into it and checked the cover the weakness in most policies is the value if cover when you are out of the studio (location work, hired spaces etc). For me the only policy with adequate cover came through Infocus. My policy is through Hiscox, different brokers offer different amount of cover with different Hiscox policies so 2 Hiscox policies may not be the same.With a body and couple of lenses for allot of pro gear knocking on £10k as a replacement value, it's worth being on point with a realistic estimate of what you kit is worth if you had to go and buy it new.Gavin
