Launching a series of compilation albums to highlight and promote the best undiscovered musical talents. Want to collaborate?
QH Sound, a start up music company based in Canterbury, UK, has announced a series of compilation albums, titled 'Unsigned Collection,' releasing in 2024. Unsigned Collection is aimed to highlight and promote the best undiscovered talents across the country. 'Unsigned Collection Vol.1,' the first of the album series, will feature solely artists and bands from Kent.
Founded by Quadri, a Canterbury Christ Church University alumnus and HMV employee passionate about finding new music and supporting emerging talents. QH Sound has helped many artists grow their fan-base, secure radio plays, book live gigs, receive press features, and so on. With 'Unsigned Collection,' QH Sound aims to provide a platform for emerging musicians to take their careers to the next level.
"There are many incredible artists that often go undiscovered in this crowded industry," said Quadri, "Unsigned Collection will shine a light on the most promising talents. This is a unique opportunity for musicians to stand out and lay the foundation for longevity."
Unsigned Collection Vol.1 will feature 15-20 tracks from artists and bands across Kent, it will be heard by listeners across the county and sent to Radio DJs, music bloggers, journalists and taste-makers searching for the next big thing.
QH Sound are currently scouting for artists of all genres to be featured on Unsigned Collection Vol.1. To be considered, artists must be based in Kent and have high-quality recordings of at least five original songs available. There is no fee to submit. Selected artist will receive promotion through the album, local press, blog features, live gigs and connecting with other musicians. They will also keep full ownership and rights to their music.
Quadri said, "with Unsigned Collection and other initiatives, we aim to nurture talent, bring musicians together, and strengthen local music scene." he added "This is about creating opportunities and helping artists reach new milestones, and with my position at HMV, I am confident we can get Unsigned Collection stocked and played in HMV shops across the county, where artists can also perform live."
