Looking for a Producer to collaborate with on a Feature Film project
I'm a writer/director from Sweden but have been based in London for the past five years. I'm working on a feature film screenplay that I would love to find a producer for, even though I'm in the early stages of development.
I'm a full-time creative director and writer/director of a start-up production company, but we're solely focused on interactive entertainment so this drama/comedy is something that I'm working on in my spare time. It is definitely a passion project and I think it has good festival potential.
Main genre is dark comedy, but with some dramatic moments as well and it centres around a Swedish family with two out of the three adult children having bipolar disorder. The the film is structured around the major holidays in one year and we see how the bipolar twin brother and sister's ups and downs affect the whole family; it's basically the Family Drama's version of a Coming Of Age story, with an honest insight into mental illness, neither glorifying or demonising it.
