Looking for filmmakers to do a 48 hour film competition on the 4-6th June

Hey,

Some friends and I have entered into the Milton Keynes 48 hour film competition and are looking for a few extra people to join us. The way the competition works is we get some form of brief or prompt on the Friday night (4th June), for us to quickly come up with a story and script from. We'll then spend the Saturday (5th June) filming, and edit on Sunday (6th June) with the deadline for submission that evening.

We're mainly doing this for fun, so are looking for other friendly filmmakers to join us to have an enjoyable time making a small short in a small amount of time. And hopefully we'll also create something quite decent for all our portfolios.

We've got a couple actors onboard, but would happily take on more. But it's mainly a few more crew members we're looking for. We'll need someone doing sound, a camera assistant, spark, editor and another roles people want to do, we'll probably take you on.

We've already got all the equipment, and like we said we're mainly doing this for fun, so we're not too worried about how experienced you are. If you're wanting to try out a new role for the first time, or looking for a first credit, this will be a great project for that.

At the moment we're looking at shooting in either Milton Keynes, St Albans, High Wycombe, or somewhere inbetween those places. So looking for people semi-local to one of those places or able to travel there easily. It'll be a mixture of what our brief is, and where most of our team are based which will dictate where we end up filming.

We think it'll be a really fun weekend, a great chance to develop our filmmaking skills, network and create something cool.

If this sounds good to you, just shoot me a message or comment on this post.
