Looking for representation with an agency

Question

Any advice for getting an illustration agency's attention and eventually getting on their books?

I picked a few out of interest and have emailed them all, which I will again soon as that was months ago (no responses), but any other tips/angles I could take? My work has come on a lot in the past 18 months and I'm desperate to show some work around and see what interest there is.
