- Hey its a pretty illustration, I just wondered if you scamped it up before you finalised this? As development can be just as exciting as the final pieces, when you picked out flowers is because they symbolise something rebirth circle of life etc? Is there depth behind what you sought to draw? What is it about? In terms of the craft itself id scan it in and then start manipulating colours in photoshop so you have more opportunities to see how it may look in different colour choices. Again purpose and depth tend to help select and limit those colours for us when you invest thought behind it. As for technical ability I notice you have certain flowers and texture of grain that is darker in areas and lighter in others, so it needs more consistency and try make a fore ground background separations to allow your eyes to have some kind of focal point otherwise my eyes drifting all over and not focusing kn what I imagine you wish to first draw peoples eyes to as an imagine tells a story.
