Photographers: How do you feel when you see a job posting that also requires videography skills?
Personally it drives me nuts 😅 when did the two completely different roles become one and the same?

- I think there are lots of opportunity when this happens, I have a video guy I work with, plus I've spent allot on lights and dedicated video cameras, it's a great opportunity.What annoys me are the type of creative directors etc who are little more than junior mangers, who are faking in the hope of making it.
- I've been shooting low end video , b roll on gimble and talking heads. We now have to be content producers. But photography is so powerful
- I often find it strange... yes you might use some of the same equipment, but they are very different skills. I am comfortable with some videography, but wouldn't put it at the same level as my photographic skills.
- It’s so frustrating! Or when they also want you to be the Creative Director (more business oriented)… why not just let us be photographers?! 😴
