Some questions about social media on World Social Media Day

Hello all,

We're well aware that social media is integral to how we interact and promote ourselves. But waves of negativity often surface across platforms. Trying to keep up with algorithms is also draining at times.

How can we keep our minds healthy while using social media?
Can we be successful in social media even if we take regular breaks from it?
How can we showcase ourselves individually without a lack of confidence getting in the way? - In my experience, it's easier managing accounts for companies and orgs than personal social media, where there's a lot of overthinking and worrying about how I come across to the point of stagnation.

I know there are many articles about this but I'd like to get this community's opinions if I can?

Thank you!

  • Jeez does social media even need a "day?" Ridiculous. People are treating their personal lives as if they were a product or a brand. Talk about voluntary conformism. It's not the age of enlightenment it is the first stage fo the digital dark age? Who has benefitted most from social media? Not society I can assure you. It is the companies that maanufacture devices and platforms. In hort, capitalists.
