tips on how to get gifting sponsorship from brands for a charity event
I’m currently Helping out a new charity with their event & wanted to know the best way to get gifting sponsorship from brands - for their goodie bags to give guest speakers.
Is there’s a online data base to get emails of people in charge of PR ?
Any information or tips will be much appreciated.

- Hi Irene, I’ve worked with plenty of charities and secured funding for them. Drop me a message and I’m happy to give you some pointers! Yasmine
- I would treat it like any other job search. Make a list of brands you think should want to sponsor your event. Work out why each one would want to sponsor your event. (Have they sponsored similar? What kind of values are in their mission statement?). Then find out if they have dedicated people who do make the decisions.
- Your best bet would be to reach out to the heads of the PR teams on Linkedin and connect with them and introduce yourself/project. Cold emailing is a massive shot in the dark in my experience.
