UI/UX Designer - Mid to Senior

Medics.Academy is a start-up which produces engaging digital training for healthcare professionals. Our aim is to solve the global workforce crisis. We have been selected to join the Wise Accelerator in Qatar and Founders’ Factory. We are recruiting a Mid to Senior UI/UX Digital Designer to join our team.

UI/UX Designer

As the UI/UX Designer, you will report into & work with the Head of Design. You will work closely with product and development teams, all of which sit in-house. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and keep a cool head under pressure. It goes without saying that you will need to be a talented individual with excellent organisational skills and be passionate about what you do.

We need a person who is tech-savvy and has exceptional problem-solving skills. Additionally, you will need to be reliable, deliver on time, and have a good sense of humour!


Responsibilities and tasks:


Translating product specifications into intuitive user interfaces that fit into the overall product ecosystem
Coming up with user flow logic and interaction logic that fits into our design system
Designing low to high-fidelity wireframes
Designing pixel-perfect user interfaces
Creating prototypes of interactions and animations
Managing and developing a design system
Analysing existing user journeys and improving them
Take part in collaborative user-centered design sessions
Coming up with innovative solutions for complex dashboard challenges
Intellectually challenging other members of the team to come up with the best solutions for the user

You will require a working knowledge of:

Figma
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Indesign
