Art on a Postcard is looking for someone to join our team as soon as possible. If you love art and are interested in contemporty art, are profficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and have ecommerce experince this might well be for you.
We are a small and fast-paced team and it will be your job to coordinate our auctions, online store and office. You will report to the Digital Marketing and Commercial Coordinator and the Managing Director. Art on a Postcard raises money for charity through art auctions and print sales. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative thinker to help us grow and expand with the opportunity to take on more responsibilities as we grow. We work with leading international contemporary artists, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in both the art and charitable sectors be part of a creative team which makes a difference.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
• Have an interest in art and photography especially contemporary artists
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills - the ability to manage concurrent projects at once
• Excellent communications skills and enthusiasm for working in a small team
• Keen eye and attention to detail
• Experience in admin role, preferably within the arts
• Experience with e-commerce platform (e.g. Shopify)
• Be adaptable and willing to learn and develop new skills i.e., new auction software, postage, copywriting
• Proficiency on Photoshop and InDesign
• Proficiency with excel and spreadsheets
• Exceptional customer service
Preferred
• Arts Degree
• Basic coding experience, or willingness to learn
• Experience with amazon e-commerce
• Experience with photographing artworks and photo editing
