We are looking for two artists based in London: A visual artist to display their artwork for a popup exhibition. An artist to paint a mural.
We invite artists to submit their work for a unique pop-up exhibition that will explore the dynamic intersections of art, music, and technology-focusing on the rich heritage and future-forward visions of Afro-diasporic music and sound.
The exhibition will from 28th Oct - 1st Nov 2024, with the main opening being Friday 1st November 2024.
This exciting exhibition will be part of a live music showcase celebrating the evolution and impact of Afro-diasporic music genres and the music created as part of a month-long exchange between UK and Netherlands based Musicians/DJs. The event will be a blend of visual arts, sound exploration, and live performances, creating an immersive environment.
We are seeking works that explore the connection between Afro-diasporic music, sound, and culture-how sound shapes, reflects, and evolves in the context of Afro-diasporic history, traditions, innovation, and global influence. Whether through visual art, multimedia, installation, or tech/digital works.
