Ekóma curate exhibitions and events primarily platforming creative outputs by, for and centred around Afro-Caribbean and Melanesian heritage while also celebrating the culture of the artists we represent. A common theme Ekóma mediates on, is how artists' cultural heritage fuses with their lived environments and how this compares against the global context.
We create impact by providing artists opportunities they otherwise may not have access to as well as making content that is accessible to younger audiences.
Projects
- Artist Open CallWe invite artists to submit their work for a unique pop up exhibition in London that will explore the dynamic intersections of art, music and technology — focusing on the rich heritage and future forward visions of Afro-diasporic music and sound. In addition, we have the opportunity for an artist to paint a mural in a newly opened commercial space. Email or DM us with your submissions.
