What do you learn from our new animation 'I Know He Loves Me' on Intimate Partner Violence Awareness https://t.co/ZpX2UmcPus ?

We've officially launched our new animation 'I Know He Loves Me' which centers the story of Ava a young black female experiencing intimate partner violence.

In line with #SHW20 we are shining a light on the need for culturally sensitive & relevant RSE resources.

How do you relate to mainstream sex education campaigns? Are they useful? What could be improved?

Share your feedback with us alongside any suggestion,

Also great if you could share and tweet @ShineALOUDUK where possible

  • I thought this was a really positive video highlighting a growing debate about what domestic violence can be. It needs to be understood and debated more when its non-physical.

It's never right for someone to have access to another person's logins, media accounts or to limit their curiosity or socialising, full stop.

Critically the flow was nice, animations cute, the score was light, the dialogue however was a little tinny and imho there's a question about represention of the black female - I find too often a certain type is pre-dominantly over-represented.
