What would be the best website to create a graphic design portfolio? & Would you recommend having a separate portfolio for photography?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate your input and time, you legend!

  • @Daniel Robinson I hav never used Format before, I will check it out! Thank you for the recommendations!! :))
  • @Arturo Rago I’ve just had a look at web flow and it’s incredibly interactive! I’m definitely into it! Thank you!
  • Oh, also! The Dots offers a discount on Squarespace:

  • I love Cargo! It’s a bit confusing to use at first but once you test and mess around with it you can really customise their cool templates more than Wix, Squarespace and Format, to make a site that’s your own. But Squarespace and format do have nice themes you can place your work into :)
  • I use Squarespace and really like it, though there is a learning curve. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty great.

That said, if you have a lot of pages, then the business account is kinda pricey (like $200+). But I haven't checked out their plans lately and I know there several different options. Just FYI to look into that when deciding.

As for separate portfolios, I tend to prefer having as centralized a presence as possible, especially if they're of creative natures. A lot less for you to manage, plus, you never know who might gel to one discipline when they're intending to check out the other one. So it's good for networking and exposure in general. As long as you designate different sections clearly, you should be good!
