Financial acumen isn’t something you’re born with, but it’s a necessity when you’re building and running a creative business. Even if you intend to outsource accounting tasks, it’s vital to understand basic financial principles and recognise the role your mind plays when making economic decisions.

In this Zoom Dive, we’ll be talking to Krystle McGilvery about connecting money to the mind and behavioural strategies you can use to overcome limiting beliefs that may hinder business growth. Along with tips and takeaways on improving financial confidence and capability, you’ll also learn some accounting fundamentals.

Expect to hear:
  • How the brain is wired to take the easiest route.
  • How good money management isn’t about maths ability; it’s about instilling good habits and self-control.
  • How to develop good financial habits – and make them stick.
  • Why setting financial goals and building a plan helps you make more money.
  • Why cashflow is crucial, followed closely by profit and loss (P&L).

Who this Zoom Dive is for:
Creative business startups, aspiring creative entrepreneurs and those already growing their businesses, who are interested in financial psychology.
