These webinars are for any organisations who want more information before applying to the Culture Recovery Fund: Grants to support their transition back to a viable and sustainable model during April – June 2021.

We have aimed to make these webinars available on different days of the week and at different times of day. The content of each will be the same, so please select the one that works best for you.

The webinars will give more information about the Culture Recovery Fund investment programmes ran by Arts Council England, along with the Arts Council’s role in administering these funds for the Department of Digital, Media, Culture & Sport (DCMS). This webinar will focus on the Grants programme and will cover:

  • Who can apply and how much you can apply for
  • How the Grants programme interacts with the Repayable Finance programme (a second element of the Culture Recovery Fund Arts Council England are also administering)
  • Questions in the application
  • How to demonstrate cultural significance
  • How to present supporting evidence in the mandatory application templates, including cashflow
  • What any potential applicants can to do to prepare with some key deadlines and dates.

Guidance for the funds are available to read on the Arts Council’s website, and there will be a dedicated Q&A section of the webinar to answer any queries.

Please note: in these webinars, we won’t be discussing individual applications or previous rounds of the Culture Recovery Fund. We are expecting lots of questions about this new round of the Grants programme, and we want to help organisations applying to this by answering as many of these questions as we can.

Who is this event for?
The webinars will be for cultural organisations based in England that are properly constituted and registered with at least one of these three bodies: Companies House, Charity Commission or the Financial Conduct Authority. Local Authorities, Universities and other Public Sector bodies who run or maintain cultural services can also apply. By ‘cultural’ here, we mean sitting in the remit of Arts Council England:

  • Dance
  • Literature
  • Music
  • Museums
  • Theatre
  • Visual Arts
  • Combined Arts

Full eligibility criteria are available in the guidance document.

How do I join the webinar?
The webinar will be delivered via Zoom and for the best user experience, we recommend using the Zoom desktop app - using the app ensures a BSL interpreter and speaker remains on screen throughout the session. After registering for a free ticket on Eventbrite, you will receive an email before the event with joining details. We’ll also have the joining details available on the Arts Council website and social media channels.

Can I ask questions?
There will be a moderated Q&A at the end of the sessions.

Do I need to prepare anything?
