Organised by Roundhouse
Are you a freelancer aged 18-30 who wants to scale your business? Perhaps you’re a creative entrepreneur who’s lost sight of your vision. Or maybe you just want to press pause on the daily grind and take stock? You need a Freelancer Strategy Day.
As freelancers, it can be only too easy to get so caught up in the day-to-day “doing” of work that we forget to take any time to sit back and think about what we’re really trying to achieve or how we can grow our business. This one-day workshop will give you the space to do exactly that.
It will help you:
- Define your offering and what makes you stand out in your chosen field.
- Find new revenue streams and ways to increase your revenue stream.
- Create a strategic plan for the coming year that will see you doing more of the work that you want to be doing and less of the work that you feel you have to do.
- Connect to a group of like-minded freelancers for collaboration and networking.
What you’ll get
When you work for a large organisation it’s normal to receive regular training and professional development, as well as take time out from the day to day to look at the bigger strategy. As a freelancer, you can feel that any day not actively producing work is a day where you’ve lost money. The Freelancer Strategy Day is your chance to gain the support you would get within an organisation while also encouraging you to focus on long-term career goals and not just the next assignment.
Aim of the day: for each participant to leave with a clear plan for the next year and immediate action steps to move them towards it.
