As our industry navigates challenges like generative AI and disruptive tech, we can learn from our past. From early mobile games on Nokia phones to the rise of iPhone gaming, and now, facing high costs and fierce competition, some things remain unchanged. This talk, (led by Benjamin Paquette) blends nostalgia with insight, reminding game professionals that while everything changes, some fundamentals in game development stay the same.
Games Insight Week is a new project from Ukie, the leading games trade body for UK video games industry, which provides game makers with knowledge from leading industry experts. Comprising of 4 webinars, the sessions provide a 40 minute session followed by Q&As from the audience.
