Join us online to explore the work of young creatives with workshops, artist's talks and music
Tate Collective Producers present a streamed version of Late at Tate Britain that explores what it means to make art in uncertain times and how artists and creatives are responding, improvising, adapting and overcoming the challenges faced by the new normal.
There will be three streams on this page on the night, running from 19.00 – 21.00 BST:
- Stream 1 is talks and showcases
- Stream 2 is lifedrawing
- Stream 3 is music

Creative Confinement
In April 2020, Ghassan Abdulrazek started Creative Confinement, an online space for student creatives at UCL to share their projects at the peak of the UK's lockdown. He interviewed them to learn about their projects and the challenges of staying creative in the midst of a pandemic. This is a short preview of a feature length documentary being released at a later date.
Tate Collective Producer Showcase

SOOF Introduces: Ketan Mandalia
In this installment Soofiya talks to young creative Ketan Mandalia about self-care and creativity and ways in which we can care for ourselves during tough times. Ketan is an art conceptual photographer, visual artist and educator in training practicing in London and New York. His work focuses on personal storytelling, with influence from life, style and current events.

Richard McVetis
Join Richard McVetis for an online embroidery workshop, where he shares his practice which focuses on multidisciplinary themes such as technology, time and labour. In the workshop he will show you some basic stitches and introduce you to his practice. He will show the strength and versatility of using embroidery for drawing and mark making, and the pleasure in taking time to make.
