Join the Leica Akademie and other like-minded photographers for this monthly guided London photo walk taking in key sights and hidden treasures of London’s streets.
This months theme is New Perspectives. The focus of the photo walk will be on exploring new ways to approach your photography. This may include shooting from low or high angles, using shadows and reflections to your advantage or trying out different lenses all with the aim to changing the way you see the world. This walk will take you through local area around the Leica Store Mayfair where you will be shown how to use your camera to compose striking images of everyday subjects.
Schedule:
Starting from the Leica store Mayfair our tutors will introduce you to the route and will discuss your theme for the walk. Following this any equipment loans and camera introductions will be dealt with and the photo walk will commence.
The photo walk lasts 2 hours. Throughout the walk a tutor will be on hand to offer technical guidance and photographic advice. Halfway through the walk there will be an opportunity to stop for a refreshment break.
The photo walk finishes back at the Leica Store Mayfair’s Akademie classroom where you will have the opportunity to review each other’s photos and ask any further questions you may have.
A selection of the latest Leica cameras and lenses will be available on the day to loan at no extra-cost, for the duration of the walk (please see T&C’s).
Who should attend:
This workshop is open to all skill levels. A distance of 1 to 2 miles will be covered on foot. It is recommended participants are comfortable walking this distance outdoors.
Limited to 8 attendees.
Leica camera owners are encouraged to bring their own cameras with them to the session.
*A Leica Camera is not required for this class. No previous photographic experience is required to attend.
