Performance artists Figs in Wigs welcome you in with their classic joyful and highly visual style.

Workshop: Uniqlo Tate Play – Mega Please Draw Freely
Turbine Hall, Level 0
Mark your mark on the Turbine Hall, create, play and have fun. Be part of a collective artwork by artist Ei Arakawa, inspired by the Gutai group – radical Japanese artists who wanted to change the world through painting, performance and play.

Music: Moiré and Kayla Painter Programmed by Global Roots / Worldwide FM
Level 1 Bridge
Kayla Painter comes to the Turbine Hall to share her deep journey into electronic music and field recordings, through which she translates personal explorations of heritage and identity. Alongside her is futuristic London producer Moiré, who delves into hallucinogenic, abstract and ambient noise. Programmed and curated by Global Roots and hosted by Thristian.

Workshop: Craft Café with Hannah Hill
Terrace Bar, Blavatnik Building, Level 1
Choose from our ‘making menu’ and grab a drink at the Craft Café to share stories, map memories and create takeaway artworks. Artist and hand-embroidery specialist Hannah Hill has developed a series of exclusive craft activities to celebrate Tate and Better Bankside’s public art project Beyond Boundaries. Also serving craft beer and cocktails.

Workshop: Tunes For Your Head Top
Blavatnik Building, Level 2
Join artist Maria Mahfooz to explore how music inspires and sustains us collectively through adversity. Inspired by Zeinab Saleh’s ‘Tunes for your head top’, a new artwork on Canvey Street commissioned as part of Beyond Boundaries.

Workshop: Collaborative Collage with RIOT SOUP
South Room, Blavatnik Building, Level 6
Learn collaging basics with RIOT SOUP collective, create your own collage and watch your work evolve by contributing to our giant collaborative collage.

Film: The Inheritance with Q&A

Starr Cinema, Natalie Bell Building, Level 1

This film by Ephraim Asili interweaves a drama with documentary recollection of the Philadelphia liberation group MOVE. MOVE were victims of a notorious police bombing in 1985. The film references the legacies of the Black Arts Movement. It features Black authors and radicals, members of MOVE, as well as poets Ursula Rucker and Sonia Sanchez.

*Please note spaces are limited and require a free ticket, available to collect at the Starr Cinema from 18.00.
