Join BGP in learning how to work safely with those affected by FGM/C, when discussing menstruation. Facilitated by Dr Leyla Hussein OBE.

Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting and Menstruation:
How do we create safe spaces in the period community for those who have experienced it?

This two hour session, hosted by Bloody Good Period, and led by Dr Leyla Hussein will take you through what FGM/C is, and how it affects women and those with vaginas, how it might affect menstruation, and how to create a safe space in our organisations and sessions for those who have experienced it.

This session is suitable for those working with women and people who menstruate, as well as those who have experienced FGM/C. If you would like to disclose any information before the session, for your safety, please feel free to contact us at the email below.
