Learn how to weave using recycled materials at our latest UNIQLO Tate Play family weaving workshop inspired by fabric, colour and upcycling!

Bring a clean, unwanted t-shirt or a colourful plastic bag and work individually or with friends/family to transform this with other recycled materials into a new woven fabric artwork.

Learn about warp and weft and how fabrics are created as we weave together at this UNIQLO Tate Play family workshop. Take your completed fabric home, or add it to our in store display in our flagship Oxford Street store. You’ll get to keep your cardboard loom to carry on your new skills at home too.

This workshop is part of UNIQLO Tate Play - a new programme of playful activities at Tate Modern and in UNIQLO stores for families of all ages.

Always taking inspiration from the art on display at Tate Modern, UNIQLO Tate Play will keep offering families new ways to play together and get creative.

Together UNIQLO and Tate share the common goal of making art accessible for all.
