Hosted by Rebecca Duncan and featuring special guests, our women in design series examines the barriers and challenges female creatives face. Our aim is to build a space that allows positive conversations to thrive and by sharing the story of our panel we hope to empower future generations.
This event is held via Zoom and will feature a curated collection of guests. We encourage ticket holders to participate by posting questions and commenting during the event. What is Right Aligned?
Made to demystify design by sharing the story of people working in creative industries, our programme consists of empowering conversations, educational workshops and panel debates that address the issues people face. We focus on giving everyone the opportunity to be heard including juniors, freelancers and founders because we aim to elevate all voices and develop a positive space that works towards making design equal and accessible.
Where do I book tickets?
You can book tickets to all our events via Eventbrite and if you follow our profile you will be notified when new dates are announced. When you book you will be provided with all the information you need to access our digital experiences. If for any reason you can’t find details we will manually forward reminders on the morning of each event straight to the email address you provide when booking.
Can I participate?
We are always looking for new people to get involved in our events, workshops and talks because we believe in elevating all voices including juniors, freelancers and founders. Everything we do is designed to break down the barriers people face and address common issues including mental health, burnout and imposter syndrome. If you’d like to share the experiences you’ve had then contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
Is it possible to watch again?
If you book a ticket but find you can’t make the time and/or date let us know and we will transfer a recording. We usually do this immediately after they’ve finished but if there’s a delay we will let you know. We also add all our events to YouTube two weeks after they were broadcast live and if you subscribe you’ll be notified when new content is added to our channel.
Do you host physical events?
At the moment we are concentrating on digital experiences because this allows us to connect with a global community and feature guests that are based in countries including UK, USA and Australia. In future we would like to explore physical events and partner with schools, festivals and universities. When we move forward with this we will post regular updates on social media.
How do you choose stock for your shop?
We wholeheartedly believe in supporting independent designers, illustrators and artists from around the world. All our stock is hand–picked by our team and available to give you, our customers, the opportunity to purchase beautifully crafted and affordable products.
