Sky is looking for a highly motivated and diligent Associate Product Lead to join our team working on the Sky News products.
What you'll do:
  • Owns discrete features and improvements, from concept through to delivery and in life
  • Ensures that product deliverables align with the product strategy and roadmap
  • You will make magic happen. We love to deliver amazing experiences for our customers whatever device they use, and wherever they are.
  • Think global, work global - actively considers how to deliver globally scalable experiences that meet the needs of customers globally
  • Track success metrics for features
  • Monitors industry trends to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing ones
  • Ability to translate research, insight and data into actionable decisions
  • Confident in analysing and presenting data to inform sound product decisions
  • Displaying excellent collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders at varied levels to get to the desired outcome, which can be employed in an Agile environment
  • Ability to inform others based on knowledge and specialist expertise in specific product areas, operating across engineering, design and business stakeholders
  • Concise, clear and continuous communication, with all relevant partners and making recommendations and decisions in a timely manner
  • Aptitude for understanding technical and business concepts and understanding implications for production proposition and strategy
  • Supports teams with global messaging and positioning strategies
  • Provides valuable input to help improve processes and procedures within the Global Product Organisation
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to products
  • Support with Product representation with external vendors as required
You will be:
  • Customer-driven: never lose sight of who we are doing this for
  • Adaptable. Tech and business priorities change, and it’s not always immediately clear where things will end.
  • Inquisitive with a passion for problem-solving
  • Somebody who plays nice. A lot of this job involves collaborating with other humans, so emotional literacy is a must.
  • Analytical and able to interpret data to inform decision making
  • Excited by new technologies, and the potential they bring in the news space
Product Delivery

Our 1000 strong, Product Delivery team does everything from developing innovative AI technology to creating the best HDR viewing experience for TV products. From Sky Go to Sky Q & Sky Glass, we take our products to the next level and make them more agile and reliable with every release.
Where you'll work:
Osterley:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
