The role
Responsible for delivering first class creative design and product approvals globally for ITV properties within the Brand Licensing team. The individual will play a crucial role in supporting the VP Creative Services to ensure all licensed products are developed to the highest standards that represent ITV Studios within creative guidelines and adhere to the rights granted to each licensee.
The role requires the ability to initiate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, third-party licensors, and licensees across a diverse range of properties. Additionally, they will be responsible for designing and creating a variety of marketing, sales, and pitch materials.
Main responsibilities
DESIGN
  • Support the wider Brand Licensing team on a wide variety of creative output including but not limited to pitch decks, brand portfolios, best practice, product mock ups, marketing assets, mood boards.
  • Working to ITV’s existing house style with a focus on attention to detail and storytelling.
  • Work on product visuals for key/problem categories from research to delivery working within consumer trends.
  • Design & create asset packs and style guides ensuring that files are delivered to a high standard as fully layered working files.
PRODUCT SUBMISSION APPROVALS
  • Drive creativity within consumer products and ensure all products are within creative tolerance levels and adhere to all rights clearances and legal/contractual requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with licensees and agents, acting as main point of contact to achieve all the necessary approvals in a timely manner. Ability to “account manage” these relationships with particular emphasis on customer service and management of expectations is key.
  • Manage and develop multiple-category product submissions covering the whole ITV licensing portfolio from initial ideation through to final completion.
  • Ensure all administration, filing and documentation is archived efficiently and accurate records kept. Support on implementing new processes and procedures to streamline efficiencies.
  • Regular category research to look for new product ideas, check competitive landscape.
  • Mediabox administration. Be a main point of contact to grant/remove access. Maintain database & upload all new style guides and assets to assets.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
  • A strong portfolio with solid experience in a design-based role.
  • Excellent MAC and graphics package skills (Keynote, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google suite)
  • Experience in licensing, design and creative product development within a consumer products environment (not mandatory)
  • Ability to work creatively within a brief and give clear design direction to licensees where needed.
  • Methodical, highly organised approach to work.  Ability/willingness to follow the departmental procedures necessary for the approvals process and maintain the necessary records.
