The role:
The Content & Creative Manager is responsible for setting, leading & evolving the visual identity & content for Glassette across all of its key marketing channels - alongside the co-founder / CCO. Bringing the Glassette brand to life with innovative creative campaigns & messaging.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and works closely with the co-founders.

Roles and responsibilities:

Brand Identity
  • Be the ultimate guardian of the Glassette brand - its visual identity as well as its tone of voice
  • Build brand equity by creating valuable & lasting assets for Glassette, which set it apart from its competitors and are industry-leading
  • Establish, codify & communicate brand voice and copy guidelines to relevant parties where necessary (e.g freelancers, agencies)
  • Write copy and work with external parties to write copy, ensuring relevancy and consistency in writing across all channels
  • Oversee design agency and brand design creation across all formats, from photography to video, and platforms, from email to social media, ensuring assets effectively communicate their message, both visually & verbally
Concepting
  • Develop effective creative concepts that deliver on objectives and establish Glassette as an industry-leading brand that sets trends, rather than follows them
  • Be bold with creative ideas & be willing to take risks and experiment, adopting a test & learn approach, whether it’s for copy, graphic design, photography or videography
  • Develop creative for Glassette’s social channels that will drive strong engagement, ‘virality’ and community growth
  • Evaluate trends within digital/brand marketing, including emerging platforms, and digest insights from performance campaigns to ensure creative is always evolving and improving
  • Work with Creative Director to create a ‘catalog’ of assets for Glassette’s social channels that harness Laura Jackson’s appeal & credibility amongst her community and the broader interiors world
Shoots & Content Creation
  • Plan shoots accordingly to meet needs of the business, being as resourceful as possible to create assets that will serve multiple purposes & have longevity where possible
  • Identify & onboard social content creators who act as an extension of the Glassette creative team to deliver creative assets where in-house capability/capacity is limited, especially for platforms such as Tiktok and Instagram. Leverage support of the Marketing function to ensure content creators receive products &/or payment in a timely manner, are well-briefed and align with the Glassette aesthetics & values
  • Identify & outreach to contributors for the blog, to create unique & inspiring content, building up a network of ‘friends’ of Glassette
  • Create compelling and unique curated product edits for the Glassette site, newsletter, social and partnership projects
Planning & Strategy
  • Work with CCO to establish content strategies for Glassette’s different marketing channels, from email to organic social, thinking about channel objectives & audiences
  • Manages Glassette social platforms including assigning and scheduling content, writing social specific copy, making ad-hoc design assets and managing the social community
  • Create templates and/or ‘series’ that can be easily replicated and distributed on relevant channels to save time and resource
  • Own & manage the shoot & editorial calendars, ensuring products are chosen in a timely manner so product team can co-ordinate call-ins with brand partners
  • Employ best practices around creative processes, setting the business up for future success as the team & business objectives grow
  • Assess resourcing needs and lean on freelancers where necessary to achieve/deliver needs of the business at busier times of the year
  • Effectively prioritise workload, reallocating resources when necessary and alerting Head of Marketing of any roadblocks to projects that may impact timelines

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years creative experience
