What’s the role about?
As part of our Design department, you’ll be joining as our Boyswear Designer, who is responsible of designing and producing the Boyswear seasonal collection and special projects.
You are an experienced Boyswear Designer with strong fabric knowledge
Creative with refined taste and strong market and trend awareness
Driven and passionate about elevated and quality Childrenswear product
Strong knowledge on Adobe photoshop and Illustrator
Self-motivated and team orientated
Strong communication and organisational skills
Developing a collection from initial concept through to served up product in buy
Researching trends, competitors, market best sellers and attending trade shows
Identifying growth areas, being reactive to up-to-date knowledge of Reiss current key product drivers and history
Following and realising seasonal colour and concept by drop
Partnering with fabric team to select best materials that work within Reiss price architecture
Working with Product Development on factory placement to help leverage margin
Sampling ordering on time, ensuring design packs are passed to PD in line with critical path
Responsible for spec pack creation, measurement and construction detail for best factory understanding
Working with Technical team to ensure all expectations of proto are met
Conducting factory visits
Product and concept presentation
