About me
Hi! I'm Julia. I was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland; moved to London to study Fashion; fell in love with design; and now I'm working for a fashion brand doing Graphic Design! My skills include branding, package design, digital and editorial design. I’m interested in clean aesthetics, minimalism, photography and simplistic yet capturing web design. I'm currently freelancing full-time, so if you need a hand, give me a shout!
Projects
  • HURRI have been working with the startup since August 2019 and have since helped with a partial rebrand as well as overhauling their website. Working closely with the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder we have helped tightening the brand's DNA and applied this to email newsletters and print collateral for a Pop-Up. I have also created bespoke GIF animations for their social media and brand guidelines to support the changes that we implemented.
  • ReissI was part of the Brand Team at Reiss from October 2017 to March 2019. In my time at the fashion retailer, I worked on an wide range of different projects including: print design for merchandising (labels, swingtags), marketing assets (digital and print), e-commerce assets (display & affiliate banners, website assets), social media content, SS19 print design, and office branding. I have also worked with visual merchandising to mock up and prepare store imagery.
  • CameoThis is another one of my student projects which I completed as part of my time at Shillington. The brief was to design an original travel magazine targeted at a specific demographic. Cameo Magazine is a travel and lifestyle magazine, which provides its readers with short literary sketches of a variety of topic. It is aimed at the busy commuters of urban and suburban areas. The digest size of the paper fits in almost any bag and the short articles allow room for more inspiring content. This issu

I was asked to redesign the Felix Dennis Foundation website as a membership platform to support up-and-coming poets. I lead this project from concept to finished product and this was done using Webflow. The site is now in its final stages.

I have been working with the startup since April and am mainly focusing on overhauling their website. Working closely with the Chief Product Officer and co-founder we have already tightened the brand DNA and applied this to email newsletters and print collateral for a Pop-Up. I have also created bespoke GIF animations for their social media and will support with the art direction on upcoming shoots.
