What You’ll Do
Your focus will be the journey our customers take from pre-purchase browsing right through to post-purchase services. You’ll work with stakeholders from eCommerce, Supply Chain, IT and Finance to ensure that strategy and pre-purchase performance is aligned with our wider business requirements.
You’ll have a detailed overview of end-to-end purchase processes—which means you’ll make your influence felt by recommending improvements across the board, all backed up by reporting insight. Logistics, payments, our website and AI—you’ll help us to make better use of them so they help deliver commercial outcomes that hit strategically important KPIs.
Hands-on supporting monthly site releases, you’ll work with UK, EU & US Digital, IT, Logistics Partners and third parties to ensure smooth running with minimal disruption to service. And you’ll help out fixing bug tickets so that we can max out SLAs. Involved right across our ecommerce operation, you’ll have a positive impact at a global organisation.
What You’ll Bring
Collaborating with multiple departments demands knowledge in different areas. From digital operational channels and digital payments to website sales processes like home delivery and returns—you’ll have a good all-round understanding that will enable you to collaborate effectively and build relationships.
A planner and analytical thinker with an empathic approach where the customer is always present in your thinking, you’ll put customer experience at the heart of decision-making and have the drive and communication skills to get your ideas implemented. For you, that feeling of getting the job done is what it’s all about. You’ll want to improve things—your own understanding and professional development included. At a company like ours, there’s plenty of room for that.
About Clarks
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825, when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. At the time it was ground-breaking: a combination of invention and craftsmanship that has remained at the heart of what the brand does now. In the Clarks archive of more than 22,000 pairs are shoes that have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950, to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognizable signature that makes it unmistakably Clarks.
