The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Corporate Philanthropy team based in London. The role involves leading on the delivery of the team’s philanthropic programming across Europe, with a focus on employee volunteering and engagement, contributing to the program’s overall innovation, design and strategy.
The successful candidate will design and deliver employee engagement activities that encourage collaboration across departments, connect employees with our culture and help to build inclusive communities. They will possess a data-driven mindset, superb organisation, event management and stakeholder engagement skills and a proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact programs. Working in close collaboration with the broader Corporate Philanthropy team, as well key contacts from across all business departments, this role will be responsible for increasing engagement in philanthropic programming across the region.
You will be responsible for:
  • Delivering the Best of Bloomberg Employee Engagement program in Europe ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality, high-impact opportunities across the region.
  • Excellent stakeholder management including key business partners; office committee representatives; employee led D&I forums and charities.
  • Being an ambassador for Corporate Philanthropy both internally and externally.
  • Managing a portfolio of charity partnerships across Europe.
  • Event management.
  • Navigating the opportunities and challenges that come with managing relationships and activities across geographies, including compliance and logistical considerations as well as cultural nuances.
  • Impact reporting to demonstrate the scale and impact of our philanthropic program.
  • Administration and data entry to support the above.
  • Assisting with the ongoing development and task allocation of a Corporate Philanthropy Apprentice.
You'll need to have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in program management in a relevant field, such as the nonprofit sector and/or corporate employee engagement role.
  • Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape and understanding of social impact initiatives.
  • Relationship management experience with employees and/or charity organizations.
  • Exceptional organisation, planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management.
  • A creative and innovative approach with an eye for detail.
  • The ability to make sound judgements and act with discretion.
  • Effective collaboration skills, who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, who enjoys a challenge, works well under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, enjoying regular interaction with people and delivers compelling presentations and written communications.
  • Flexibility in terms of approach and hours.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, impact reporting and administration.
