Role Description
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the UK & Ireland head office Finance team, reporting to the Head of FP&A.  The Finance Analyst will need to have a keen eye for attention to detail when assisting in the preparation of the business’ consolidated actual, forecast, and budgeted reports and in regularly preparing key metric analysis for our US head office team for strategic decision making to drive the business forward.
The successful candidate will have a strong finance analytical background, be forward thinking with a positive attitude to change and be looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential
  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Financial / Management reporting experience working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take a higher-level view of data to highlight important points.
Desired / Not Essential
  • Experience of US GAAP.
  • Experience of variance reporting.
  • Experience with a consolidating forecast tool (BPC/EPM).
  • Media and entertainment/FMCG background.

What the role includes
  • Review monthly business unit report submissions of forecast vs. actual and prior forecast variances.
  • Preparation of consolidated UK & Ireland Budget, Forecast and Actuals reporting packs to be delivered to head office, involving both financial and non-financial information with supporting commentary.
  • Prepare monthly internal forecast and actual operational reports with supporting commentary and analysis.
  • Working with key areas of the business to maintain the biweekly concert pacing schedules in accordance with the US reporting timetable.
  • Regular preparation and distribution of key metrics for senior management to facilitate decisionmaking towards the achievement of the budget and strategic plans.
  • Assist and support the Head of FP&A to ensure relevant information is provided and deadlines are met during the preparation of consolidated monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist the Head of FP&A to maintain, create and produce key business analytical reports.
  • Project work on testing and delivery of new Global Accounting and FP&A system being rolled out during 2024.
  • Other ad hoc analysis reports as required.
