What you'll do
  • Create applications that scale predictably, facilitate development across multiple developers and teams and promote maintainability and extensibility.
  • Enhance and support existing production applications/platforms.
  • Design, develop, test and support new micro-service applications.
  • Write clean code that meets industry standards while adhering to best practices.
  • Debug application issues by identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within/across teams (e.g., QA engineers) during all stages of the SDLC process from design through deployment.
  • Maintain up-to date knowledge about emerging technology trends.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros and refinement and estimation sessions.
What you'll bring:
Must have:
  • Extensive system development knowledge with .NET and C#.
  • Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g. OOAD, SOLID, TDD, API First/ REST API).
  • Extensive knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
  • Extensive experience of working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Octopus Deploy, Team City, Jenkins).
  • Extensive experience of working with Git (VCS).
  • Extensive experience of test automation (e.g. using pytest).
​Nice to have:
  • Applied knowledge of Message Broker (e.g. ActiveMQ).
  • Applied knowledge of Javascript, web front-end technologies. (React/Redux etc.).
  • Applied knowledge of containerised software development (e.g. Docker).
  • Applied knowledge of document database (e.g. Couchbase).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, Java, Groovy

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
