This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.
To produce and direct creative and engaging graphics for multi-platform marketing campaigns for our portfolio of brands, National Geographic and National Geographic Wild and STAR channels. This individual will support and work in conjunction with the Senior Graphic Designer, Creative Director, and wider Creative Team both regionally & across the UK, and may be required to support broader Media Networks initiatives.
Support the Design Team and help develop, design, visualise and bring ideas to life. Create graphic formats, templates & design elements based on brand guidelines, campaign objectives and ensure designed & delivered for the relevant platforms.
Work may include Campaign GFX, Key art creation, Channel Branding, Assets for Digital, VOD, App and Social Platforms. Must ensure that work created and delivered can easily be shared and localised by other markets.
This role has both regional and UK responsibilities and requires a collaborative attitude and approach. It will require the ability to manage the needs of several stakeholders, support the creative team, creativity, effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships to achieve business objectives.
Produce creative, innovative multi-platform promotional Graphics under the supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer and both regionally & across the UK.
Work within the framework of a multi-feed environment, within allocated budget and timescale
Assist with the creation of both original and repurposed creative campaigns, either at in house post production facility or via a creative agency
Be a key member of the team responsible for planning and implementing creative specifically suited to the relevant audience
Work closely with the Production Management team
Work with Marketing, and other departments to produce multi-platform creative assets
Ensures compliance with Disney standards and practices and legal and financial procedures
Respects the relevant brand style guides
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience developing graphics, across both linear and digital platforms
Video and motion or broadcasting industry experience
Experience and understanding of print process are essential – storyboarding, scamps, conceptualising, designing etc (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and repro)
Experience and understanding of all production techniques is essential – storyboarding, editing, DV camera work and directing GFX etc (After Effects, Photoshop and Adobe Editing software)
Experience working with agencies
After Effects, Photoshop and understanding of industry software including 2D and 3D animation techniques
Solid knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and industry standard plug ins
Excellent presentation skills
