Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated & detail focused Interim Senior Product Manager to look after Content Discovery and experimentation for Hayu. This includes identifying areas of improvements on the browse and search experience to ensure user engagement on the platform as well as promoting experimentation using user testing and multi-variant testing. The ideal candidate would work in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and with development teams to define requirements and ensure delivery as well as supporting in managing the Content Discovery Product Roadmap.
Responsibilities
  • Manage in-life and new feature backlogs for the hayu apps, using Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with a focus on Content Discovery and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, product leads, and external vendors to establish product requirements and create user stories.
  • Encourage experimentation and enforce a user-centric approach.
  • Identify areas for improvement and oversee the functional testing pipeline, coordinating with third-party vendors.
  • Manage the design process, including conducting benchmark research, user testing, obtaining stakeholder approval, and transitioning to the development team.
  • Work closely with Content and Marketing teams to finalize features and approve UX and design elements.
  • Coordinate with the Editorial team to define and prioritize custom CMS feature backlogs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest product innovations, market trends, and design concepts.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:
  • Backlog creation & Management
  • Using a ‘Data driven’ and user testing approach to improve products.
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Creation of User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
  • Getting user feedback using 3rd party tool
  • Pivoting quickly to support wider Business Goals & KPIs
  • Working with a small core team (but with extended vendor/development teams).
  • Working collaboratively with 3rd Party development vendors.
  • Experience of Web technologies
  • iOS/Apple App store (iTunes connect)
  • Android/Google Play console
